1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Divine Dreamer app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Divine Dreamer.

2. Description of Service

Divine Dreamer is a mobile application that provides:

• A private dream journaling platform
• AI-generated biblical interpretations of dream symbols
• Pattern insights and analytics
• Cloud synchronization (optional)
• Community features (future release)

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Divine Dreamer. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app. By using Divine Dreamer, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

4. User Accounts

Account Creation: You may create an account using email or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

Local-Only Mode: You may use Divine Dreamer without creating an account. In this mode, your data stays on your device and cannot be recovered if lost.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Divine Dreamer only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Use the app to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Upload content that is illegal, offensive, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the app
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems (bots) to access the app
• Misrepresent AI-generated interpretations as divine prophecy or authoritative spiritual guidance

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Free Features: Divine Dreamer offers core journaling features for free.

Premium Subscription: Additional features are available through an optional subscription:

• Unlimited cloud storage and sync
• Advanced pattern insights
• Export to PDF with formatting
• Priority support

Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system or Stripe. Pricing is displayed in the app before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Content: All content in the Divine Dreamer app, including text, graphics, code, biblical symbol library, and AI interpretation prompts, is owned by Divine Dreamer or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of your dream journal entries, prayers, and personal reflections. By using cloud sync or community features, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

User-Generated Content: If you share dreams publicly in the community (future feature), you grant other users the right to view and interact with that content according to your privacy settings.

8. Third-Party Services

Divine Dreamer integrates with third-party services including:

• Apple (authentication, in-app purchases, iCloud)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Anthropic Claude AI (interpretation generation)

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party service failures or changes.

9. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

No Warranty: Divine Dreamer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• AI interpretations are accurate, complete, or theologically sound
• Your data will never be lost (always back up important content)

Not Professional Advice: Divine Dreamer does not provide medical, psychological, or professional spiritual counseling. If you experience distressing dreams or mental health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Divine Dreamer and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• Damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated interpretations
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the last 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Divine Dreamer, its operators, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of Divine Dreamer is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take your privacy seriously and employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination:

• Your access to premium features will end immediately
• Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
• No refunds will be provided for remaining subscription time (except as required by law)

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Divine Dreamer after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except where prohibited by law.

If you are a resident of the European Union, you may have additional rights under local consumer protection laws.
