Account Information:
- Email address (if you create an account)
- Authentication credentials (handled securely by Apple or my authentication provider)
- Faith background and Bible translation preferences (optional)
Usage Data:
- App analytics (feature usage, crash reports) to improve the app
- Device information (iOS version, device type) for compatibility
Payment Information:
- Processed securely through Stripe and Apple's In-App Purchase system
- I never see or store your credit card details
How I Use Your Information
I use the information collected to:
- Provide and maintain the Divine Dreamer app and its features
- Generate AI-powered biblical interpretations for your dreams
- Sync your dream journal across your devices (if you enable cloud sync)
- Send you important notifications about your account or the app
- Improve app performance and fix technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations (tax reporting, dispute resolution)
I never:
- Sell your dream content or personal data to third parties
- Use your dreams for advertising or marketing
- Share your dreams publicly without your explicit consent
- Train AI models on your private dream content
Data Storage & Security
Encryption: All dream content is encrypted both in transit and at rest. I use industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
Storage Location: Your dream data is stored securely on:
- Your device (local storage for offline access)
- My secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase/AWS) if you enable sync
Local-Only Mode: You can use Divine Dreamer entirely offline without creating an account. In this mode, your dreams never leave your device.
Third-Party Services
I work with trusted third-party services to provide the app:
- Supabase: Database and authentication (privacy-focused, GDPR-compliant)
- Stripe: Payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
- Apple: In-app purchases, authentication, cloud storage (iCloud)
- OpenAI (ChatGPT): Biblical interpretation generation (your dreams are processed ephemerally and not stored by OpenAI)
These services have their own privacy policies and security measures. I carefully vet all partners.
Your Rights & Choices
You have the right to:
- Access: Download a copy of all your dream data
- Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data
- Export: Export your dreams as PDF or text files
- Control Sync: Choose whether dreams sync to the cloud or stay local
- Opt Out: Disable analytics and crash reporting in settings
Children's Privacy
Divine Dreamer is not intended for children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact me immediately.
International Users
Divine Dreamer is operated in the United States. If you are accessing the app from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and stored in the U.S. By using Divine Dreamer, you consent to this transfer.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this privacy policy from time to time. I'll notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Divine Dreamer after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
